Vehicle Expense Claim Forms 

These forms are used to claim out of pocket expenses you have made in relation to your Novated lease. 
Please note: not all types of expenses can be claimed as out of pocket for all lease types.

Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) Forms


Vehicle Fund Closure:
This form is used to declare the closing odometer reading at the end of your lease, or when you terminate employment with your current employer.  The details provided are used for FBT purposes.

Days unavailable for private use:
This form is used for FBT reporting purposes and is to be used to declare the number of days the vehicle was unavailable for private use.  Prior to submitting this form please ensure you have read and understood the ATO rulings regarding days unavailable for private use.

Fair Wear and Tear Guide

All vehicles being returned to sgfleet, must be returned in accordance with the Fair Wear and Tear Guide. Click here to open a copy of the guide.

If in the opinion of sgfleet, a vehicle is subject to damage beyond Fair Wear and Tear:

  • At vehicle collection, a condition report is prepared which is signed by the driver and an sgfleet agent
  • An advice is forwarded to the drivers' internal fleet manager (including photographs) giving the estimated cost of the repair
  • Should the driver disagree, they can have the vehicle independently assessed, the damage estimated or the vehicle repaired

This process protects sgfleet's client's by ensuring that only legitimate claims are escalated and costs are not incurred without the consent of the driver and fleet manager. Managed effectively, this process shows unforeseen costs and can highlight the need for behavioural change.
