Employees of the following organisations could be able to salary package the cost of the services of an aged care or disability provider:

  • Private schools
  • Clubs
  • Associations
  • Religious institutions
  • Public or private not-for-profit hospitals
  • Charities
  • Not-for-profit organisations

Living expenses that have been provided by a registered aged care or disability supplier for a parent, dependent or partner who needs nursing care due to physical or mental disability or old age could be salary packaged if an employer offers this as part of their workplace benefits program.

Employees should contact their employer to see if this benefit is available to them.
