My existing lease
Your vehicle must always have a valid Comprehensive Motor Insurance policy.
Novalease
It is not compulsory to include insurance as part of your Novalease package with SG Fleet, and you can arrange your own insurance as long as it is fully comprehensive. Please make sure your insurer knows that this is a personal contract hire vehicle when obtaining your policy and SG Fleet will be the registered keeper of the car.
If you choose to include insurance via SG Fleet, the cost is fixed for the full term of your lease and is factored into your salary sacrifice reduction, giving you additional Income Tax and National Insurance savings.
Salarylease
Fully comprehensive insurance is included within your Salarylease rental, giving you further Income Tax and National Insurance savings. A copy of the key features is available from SG Fleet upon request. If you would like a copy, please contact us.
Please note, insurance via SG Fleet is a compulsory requirement under the Salarylease scheme.
Personal Contract Hire (PCH)
If you have a PCH lease with us, please note that insurance is not included. You will need to arrange your own fully comprehensive policy.
Breakdown assistance is included as part of your SG Fleet lease. If you have a breakdown or are involved in an accident, our driver support service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
For breakdown assistance, please call your driver assistance line on 0344 85 45 161 and select option 1, then follow the prompts for the support you need.
We will arrange recovery from the scene where required and do everything we can to get you back on the road as quickly and safely as possible. If you have arranged your own insurance, for any accident-related repairs, please contact your insurer directly.
When your car is due for its scheduled maintenance or repairs, and your salary sacrifice contract includes servicing, you can book these appointments online here.
We'll contact you to confirm the details and finalise the arrangements. Alternatively, you can book directly with our dedicated network of repair agents by calling your driver assistance line on 0344 854 5161 and selecting the relevant option.
If you're moving to a new employer, you may be able to transfer your existing SG Fleet lease.

As your lease approaches its final six months, we'll get in touch to guide you through the next steps. This is your opportunity to review your needs and decide what you'd like to do moving forward.
You may choose to start a new lease, continue with your current vehicle for a little longer, or hand the car back at the end of the lease term. Whatever you decide, our team will talk you through the process and make sure everything is arranged for you accordingly.
