What happens at the end of your lease?
When your lease is nearing its end and the vehicle is not being replaced, a member of our team will reach out to you or your employer to discuss collection of your vehicle. Here's what to expect and how to prepare for a smooth collection.
Condition requirements
For a hassle-free collection, your vehicle should meet these basic requirements. Failure to comply will result in an aborted collection for which a charge will be applied.
Final checks before collection
Disconnect the vehicle from any online applications and delete all personal data. We recommend removing personal contacts, navigation history and any saved payment details from the vehicles system. Please ensure all in car connectivity has all of your personal details deleted. It's important to be aware that we are not responsible for any data you have put into the vehicles operating system.
Upon collection, the vehicle should have at least a quarter tank of fuel or a full charge if its an electric vehicle.
You will be asked to sign a formal report confirming the vehicle condition at the point of collection. Your vehicle will be assessed against the BVRLA fair wear and tear guide which you can find below. Any damage or missing items that fall outside of these guidelines will be chargeable.
