Behind the wheel of our 2026 drive days
By SG Fleet | 09 October 2026
With new technologies, emerging brands and changing customer expectations reshaping the automotive landscape, organisations are increasingly looking for opportunities to connect with experts, insights and stay informed.
To support those conversations, we recently hosted a series of SG Fleet drive days across Australia, bringing together customers, leading automotive manufacturers and our teams for a day of exploration, discussion and behind-the-wheel experience.
The events gave attendees the opportunity to experience a broad range of vehicles, hear directly from manufacturers and gain firsthand exposure to developments across the industry. Some participants were even given an exclusive preview of vehicles yet to be released on Australian roads.
Getting closer to what’s changing
As one of the largest fleet management and mobility providers in the ANZ region, we maintain strong relationships across the automotive sector. These partnerships enabled us to bring multiple manufacturers together in one place, giving customers direct access to a diverse range of vehicles, expertise and perspectives.
While the vehicles were a major attraction, the conversations they sparked were just as valuable. Attendees could engage directly with manufacturers, ask questions, discuss future developments and gain a clearer understanding of how the market is evolving.
More than time behind the wheel
The drive days also created a forum for customers to connect with our relationship team and with one another, sharing experiences and discussing common challenges. Those peer-to-peer conversations are an important part of the experience. They create an opportunity to learn from others facing similar decisions, compare perspectives and explore practical questions in a more open setting through hands-on experience.
In a business environment increasingly shaped by digital interactions, the drive days were also a reminder of the value of getting people together face-to-face and putting vehicles, technology and ideas into real-world context.
Bringing industry expertise together
The strong support from manufacturers reflects the depth of our industry relationships and our ability to create meaningful experiences for customers. By bringing together vehicle brands, industry knowledge and real-world discussion, the drive days delivered value well beyond a traditional vehicle showcase.
They also gave us an opportunity to thank customers for their ongoing partnership and offered a chance to step away from day-to-day responsibilities, spend time with peers and connect with our relationship teams in a more informal setting.
We look forward to building on the success of this year's program and getting back on the road in 2027 with even more opportunities for customers to experience the latest developments in mobility firsthand.
