Proud sponsor of the ACT Brumbies

Supporting a club helping rugby communities stay connected across Canberra and regional New South Wales.

Supporting the connection beyond the field

For more than 17 years, SG Fleet has proudly supported the ACT Brumbies, and the important role they play both on and off the field.

With vehicle support behind the scenes, we help the Brumbies stay connected to the people and places beyond the jersey, from training and match day commitments to regional community visits across Southern New South Wales and the ACT.

But our partnership is about more than simply travelling between places.

It’s about helping the Brumbies continue building meaningful connections with the communities that support them. Whether that’s through local club visits, grassroots rugby programs or time spent with younger players who may one day pull on the blue and gold themselves.

ACT Brumbies

Meet the ACT Brumbies

Founded in 1996, the ACT Brumbies are one of Australia’s most storied rugby clubs. Competing in Super Rugby Pacific, they have won multiple titles, produced generations of Wallabies and built one of the most passionate supporter bases in the country. Nearly half of all players who have worn the Brumbies jersey have gone on to represent Australia.

But the Brumbies are about far more than elite performance. They facilitate rugby across 8 major competition divisions, supporting 240+ junior teams, school-based programs and more than 6,500 registered players across the ACT and Southern New South Wales.

The Brumbies play an important role in growing participation and creating opportunities for young players to get involved in the sport.

Impact that extends beyond game day

Taking the game to the people who love it most

Every year, Brumbies players and coaches travel to regional communities to spend time with the clubs and supporters who have backed the team for generations.

For young rugby players who live outside major cities, meeting their heroes face-to-face can leave a lasting impression, whether it’s sharing a conversation, signing a jersey or simply seeing what might be possible.

For Brumbies General Manager, Gavin Hunt, those visits are personal. Growing up in Wagga Wagga himself, Gavin understands the impact these moments can have on young players in regional communities.

As he explains, these visits are an important way for the Brumbies to give back to the people who support the club year-round, while inspiring the next generation of players.

“[The partnership with SG Fleet] allows us to get out into these regional areas and SG Fleet facilitates that for us on a day-to-day and on an ongoing annual basis…. I think just seeing the faces of the kids, it gives me a lot of pride in what I do”.

The fleet behind the community visits

Practical support that creates meaningful connections

As part of our long-standing partnership, SG Fleet provides the vehicles that help make these community visits possible, supporting the Brumbies as they travel to clubs, schools and communities across the region.

Whether it’s a visit to a country rugby club, a school appearance or time spent with aspiring young players, we’re proud to support the Brumbies in reaching people and places that matter most to them.

After more than 17 years of partnership, we’re proud to support the ACT Brumbies as they help inspire future players and strengthen connections across Canberra and regional Australia.
