Your Fleetintelligence online account will automatically be activated when your lease commences. Simply go to the login page and reset your password using the email address that you used when you originally set up your SG Fleet lease. You will then receive an email from SG Fleet with a link to change your password and from here you will be able to log into your account.
Simply go to the Fleetintelligence login page, enter your email address that you used when you originally set up your SG Fleet lease and select the ‘Reset your password’ link. If your lease has a provision for fuel, then you will have been sent fuel payment cards. You should receive your cards within 10 business days of your lease start date. If you have not yet received your card, you can pay for your fuel and seek reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses through your online account. Please ensure you keep a valid tax invoice as proof of payment.
Please contact SG Fleet immediately on 1300 138 235. We’ll cancel your current card and reissue you with a new card as quickly as possible. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for all transactions on the card until the loss is reported.
You can claim reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses using your Fleetintelligence online account. You will find instructions on how to activate your online account elsewhere in this FAQ.
Once you have logged into your online account, you can submit a request for reimbursement through the ‘activities’ menu item.
Before submitting your claim, please ensure you have sufficient funds and that your current bank details have been updated in your online profile. You can manage your online profile details under your account name in the main menu.
Please note, not all types of out-of-pocket expenses can be claimed, only those that are genuine expenses related to the day-to-day operational costs and upkeep of your novated lease vehicle. This does not include adding new accessories to your vehicle (unless they are replacing existing items), tolls, fines or hire car charges. For further information on what items can be claimed, please contact us using the form below.
You can take your vehicle to be serviced at most major manufacturer franchises. We recommend that you take your vehicle to a franchised dealer for your make/model of vehicle during your warranty period to ensure your warranty remains valid under the manufacturer’s terms and conditions. Refer to your manufacturer vehicle servicing handbook for more information.
SG Fleet has an established network of thousands of approved merchants nationwide, including dealerships, mechanical repair centres, major tyre outlets, specialist repairers, automotive glass replacement and roadside assistance services. Visit the Service locator on our website to find your nearest provider.
The first step is to find the nearest SG Fleet provider (see above). When booking your car in, please advise the provider that you are an SG Fleet customer. This will ensure the provider calls our Maintenance Authorisation Team for an order number before starting work on your car. The number is 1300 658 235.
Yes, if your lease includes registration renewals. When you receive your renewal notice for payment, you’ll need to log in to your Fleetintelligence account and submit a request for payment to be made by SG Fleet (provided sufficient funds are available at the time of your request).
If your lease does not include annual renewals, you will still receive an email from SG Fleet to remind you to pay your registration renewal when it falls due.
If during your lease you spend more than expected on your car's running costs, SG Fleet will contact you to increase your budgets in line with your expenses. You can also monitor your account balance at any time via your Fleetintelligence online account. If your balance is in a shortfall at the end of your lease, SG Fleet will invoice your employer for funds to be recovered directly from you.
Usually, six months prior to the end of your lease term, SG Fleet will be in touch to discuss your end of lease options, which may include getting a new lease, re-financing the residual value for another lease term, or paying out the lease. SG Fleet can also assist with selling your existing vehicle through our car trade-in service.
If you are leaving your employer, please call us as soon as possible so we can discuss the following options available to you:
Re-novate the vehicle with your new employer, if your new employer’s salary packaging allows you to do so. You’ll need to sign a new novation agreement with your new employer and fleet provider to continue to manage your novated lease.
If your new employer’s salary packaging arrangements do not allow you to renovate, you can continue to make lease payments directly to the financier as a direct debit until the lease ends or until you wish to pay out the vehicle. The lease term remains the same and your residual amount will still be due at the end of the lease. Under this option, all your running costs will be at your own expense and paid for separately.
Pay out the vehicle lease and take ownership of the vehicle. You can request a payout figure, which will be emailed to you within three business days.
If your lease has insurance providing protection in the event of involuntary redundancy, please call our insurance team on 1300 001 087. Conditions will apply as per your original Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
When you enter into a novated lease, you agree to lease the car for a fixed period of time, so it's important that you choose a lease term that reflects how long you intend to keep your car. If you choose to finalise your lease early, you will be provided with a payout figure. This figure will include the present value of any remaining rentals at that time and your residual value inclusive of GST.
