Spotlight on: Tesla Model Y

EVs represented 4.4% of the total new-car market in August 2022.ˆ Leading the charge with 80% of total EVs sold was Tesla, with a combination of the best-selling Model 3 sedan, and newer to the market Model Y SUV crossover. 

The Model Y offers a plethora of both space and comfort, boasting more headroom in the front and legroom in the rear. Compared to the Model 3, rear passengers gain an extra 13.5cm due to the longer wheelbase.  If greater cargo space is what you are after the Model Y leads the pack with a total cargo capacity of 853 litres compared to that of the Model 3 which consists of 542 litres.
